The Orange Grove Group, Inc. was incorporated in California during September of 1986 as a company whose primary focus was management consulting to small business. Other activities included the optioning of literary material for development into feature film and television projects. On September 15, 1993, The Orange Grove Group transitioned itself into a full-service talent and literary agency (State of California License TA-40311-1 ) representing/packaging acting, writing, and directing talent for film, television, and theatre. Guild franchises held include SAG, AFTRA, AEA, WGA, and DGA.

Gregory D. Mayo is the President and Founder of The Orange Grove Group. Prior to the establishment of this agency, Mr. Mayo served in the capacity of Vice-President, National Sales & Marketing Manager, and Consultant/Strategist for several large manufacturing and distribution companies. Mr. Mayo holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, BA from Denison University, and did graduate work at The George Washington University. Professional associations include Who’s Who In California, Who’s Who In Executives & Professionals, Pepperdine Management Partners, American Film Institute, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and The Thalians.
